Roles & Responsibilities

  • Interface and assist all travel youth care workers.
  • Drive vehicle safely in accordance with various states laws and Culmen policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the accountability of all children at all times, making sure they are safely picked up and dropped off at appropriate locations.
  • Completes thorough before-and-after trip vehicle checks each day and records all information into a log.
  • Records gas level, mileage, and maintenance on designated forms; maintains all receipts.
  • Cleans out vehicles each day and executes random vehicle inspections.
  • Promotes safety at all times by keeping first aid supplies fully stocked.
  • May participate in researching or developing optimized route and delivery to improve overall efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • 1.5 + years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • HSPD-12 PIV Credential Tier 1
  • National Agency Check and Inquiries—NACI Clearance
  • Ability to pass a drug test; will be subject to random drug testing throughout employment with Culmen 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent experience providing driving services for the HHS, ORR re-unification program.
