Roles & Responsibilities

All Source Analyst will monitor and provide expertise with regard to specific countries within the program's Area of Responsibility/Area of Interest (AOR/AOI). Research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on political, military, economic, social, criminal, terrorism / counterterrorism, or multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to the program's priority intelligence requirements. Prepare timely written and oral assessments developed through classified research of theater and national level resources, including data bases and open source information. Prepares specialized political, military, and terrorism/counter-terrorism threat-related assessments and briefings in support of a wide-range of contingency operations and plans. Interprets complex political and economic developments and provides concise and coherent briefings on sensitive program issues to senior leaders. Prepare specialized analytical products including technical reports and Performs indications and warning analysis. Provides quality control in daily reports and long-term projects. Performs complex data analysis, populates, and maintains the program's Analytical Control Element’s CT/AVRS database.  Prepares and provides threat assessments and biographic information in support of senior staff officer visits or trips.

Basic Qualifications

All Source Analyst's assigned to this program must be available for recall, deployment, and shift work under 16- or 24-hour 7-day per week operational cycles. They also must be willing to live under field conditions equivalent to those of the supported unit during field exercises and training events.

 

Category 1 All Source Analyst Minimum Requirements. Master’s degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience with appropriate military and civilian training in the intelligence analysis field. All Source Analysts must have a thorough understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture, to include planning, collection, research, analysis, and production. The All Source Analyst must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, must possess a strong working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), and must be able to work as a member of a team.

 

Category 2 & Category 3 All Source Analyst Minimum Requirements. Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR 7+ years of specialized experience with appropriate military and civilian training in the intelligence analysis field. The All Source Analyst must have a thorough understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture, to include planning, collection, research, analysis, and production. The All Source Analyst must also be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing, must have a strong working knowledge of all Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), and must be able to work as a member of a team.

 

TS/SCI Clearance is required.
