Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and collaborate with corporate financial team on invoicing and reconciliation for contract line item numbers (CLINS), sub-contract line item numbers (SLINS), vendors, and subcontractors, including unbilled cost, accruals, and on-hold cost
  • Analyze financial data, identify problems, and recommend solutions
  • Develop and/or analyze program financial revenue projection and variance
  • Track project costs using multiple funding lines allocated across multiple project accounts and fiscal years (appropriation)
  • Allocate costs accurately to specific control accounts and/or charge codes
  • Prepare, review and revise reports, spreadsheets and briefs for internal and customer review
  • Implement financial policies and procedures in support of assigned projects
  • Establish and maintain financial baselines and analyze variance
  • Conduct wire transfers
  • Use company IT systems to update transactions and incorporate/amend actuals
  • Make recommendations for process improvements

Basic Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. degree in business, finance, accounting, and/or economics
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial management/control of U.S. Government contracts
  • Ability to effectively work with a large volume of quantitative data
  • Organized self-starter with exceptional attention to detail while performing multiple assignments
  • Subject matter expert in Excel; proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Familiar with commercial wire transfer systems
  • Possess the skills and experience listed below, be an independent thinker, detail oriented, and implement effective time management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner, and work well in a diverse team environment across various cultures and time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Cost Point
  • Knowledgeable in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
  • Knowledgeable with all types of contracts
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable in Government Travel Regulations or DOD Joint Travel Regulations
  • Experience supporting or working with USG foreign assistance programs/initiatives
