Overview

Culmen International is hiring a Critical Infrastructure Security and Explosives Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Instructors to provide support for The Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), Office of Antiterrorism Assistance (ATA) Global Antiterrorism Training Assistance (GATA) course known as Critical Infrastructure and Security Resilience (CISR).

 

These positions are in preparation for future need of instructors for the GATA program and will be short term OCONUS assignments.

Roles & Responsibilities

As necessary and in accordance with the approved DS/T/ATA curriculum guide, construct and direct Instructors in the construction of improvised explosive device training aids for use during x-ray, disruptor, demolition, and hand-entry exercises. The use of up to 240 training aids per class may be required.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as law enforcement, management, criminal justice administration, or security management (3+ years of professional work experience may be substituted for one (1) year of education)
  • 8+ years experience in law enforcement experience in these areas of technical and physical security programs is required at a local, state, federal, or military installation; or private sector security management experience with day to day involvement in a designated vital or critical infrastructure site(s) and the assessment of these sites utilizing the criticality, accessibility, recuperability, vulnerability, Effect and recognizability (CARVER) and other protective measure assessment methodologies.
  • Graduate of FBI Post Blast Investigators course or ATF Post Blast Investigative training.
  • Varied and wide range of skills in law enforcement and private sector security management, developing, performing and auditing threat analysis programs within a critical infrastructure site.
