The Contract Specialist is responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing company contracts. They ensure compliance with legal requirements, analyze potential risks, and maintain organized records.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contract terms with internal and external business partners.
  • Review and update existing contracts.
  • Design standardized language and guidelines for contracts.
  • Identify potential risks contract changes may pose to the organization.
  • Collaborate with procurement, legal, and human resources teams to ensure contracts' compliance.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met.
  • Maintain an organized system of physical and digital records.
  • Share contract processes, conditions, and details with management, business partners and employees as needed.
  • Review contracts for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.
  • Liaise between parties regarding contract development, negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Minimum of (2) years experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Manager, or relevant role
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
