About the Role

Culmen International is seeking a Deputy Director of Case Management for a future Health and Human Services opportunity.

 

The Deputy Director of Case Management provides leadership and supervision to the case management department, monitors length of stay for children, coordinates discharges, and assists in resolving compliance issues within the department. They are subject to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and to be on-call.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Oversee the Case Management department’s daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Review electronic and physical case files to ensure all case documentation is legible, accurate and complete.
  • Disseminate policy changes and updated training materials for standardized compliance.
  • Provide support, guidance, and training as needed to Case Management team.
  • Provide ongoing Case Management department evaluation and recommendations for continuous quality and growth.
  • Routinely meet with Case Management team to staff assigned cases, ensure the timely submission of reunification packets, and assist with issues and/or concerns.
  • Conduct departmental quality assurance visits and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Facilitate collaboration between Case Management staff and other departments, including Clinical and Medical.
  • Support the Case Management Supervisors as they liaise with government and non-government entities.
  • Meet regularly with Case Management supervisors to review case submissions, length of stay, and services being provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, human services, or related field.
  • Minimum of (3) three years case management experience, preferably in an ORR setting.
  • Minimum of (1) one year supervisory experience.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to successfully clear a background check.
  • Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.
  • Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
