The Supervisor for RAC/VOC identifies and plans activities, compiles feedback to identify areas for improvement, and modifies activities based on the population

· Develop vocational and recreational courses, along with their respective policies and procedures.

· Oversee the coordination of vocational, recreational, and educational outings and activities.

· Build and maintain partnerships with the local community to be able to provide external vocational and recreational services to the youth in care.

· Ensure supplies are always readily available for all vocational and recreational activities while maintaining a healthy budget.

· Oversee the coordination of Physical Education instruction and other large muscle activities.

· Work closely with the education department and assist with the planning and coordination of special educational events.

· Supervise a team of Vocational and Recreational Coordinators.

· Must assist in the evacuation of youth as needed due to inclement weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen occurrences.

· Travel as needed for youth transportation within the U.S.

· Work independently, react to change productively, and handle other essential tasks as assigned while exercising a high level of confidentiality.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Minimum of (1) one year experience working with youth, preferably in an ORR setting.

· Minimum of (1) one year supervisory experience.

· Must be computer literate.

· Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.

· Proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) preferred.

· Possess a valid Driver’s License.

· Possess a clear Tuberculosis test.

· Ability to successfully clear a background check.

· Ability to successfully clear a drug screening.

· Provide immunization documentation for Tdap, Varicella, MMR, Hepatitis A and B, Varicella.

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
