Culmen International is hiring a Transition Manager to provide support for the Research Directorate at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and will be onsite in Springfield, VA.
The Transition Manager employs an understanding of emerging technology initiatives and assists Research Scientists in gauging the technology readiness level (TRL) of R&D efforts to enable successful transition of technologies from development to operational use within NGA, the NSG, ASG, IC, and DoD partners.
The Transition Manager tracks the maturity levels and coordinates with stakeholders. The Transition Manager formalizes transition through policy or agreement documentation and consults with the Research workforce to update status reports to the D/R on transition metrics.
Draft documentation for transition policy or agreements.
Advise research scientists on tech transition topics (e.g., project planning for transitions, knowledge of NGA processes, and identification of NGA stakeholders or customers).
Coordinate with stakeholders in NGA Research and in acquisition program offices.
Lead and facilitate strategic working groups or planning sessions.
Brief and report on program status through documents and presentations.
Prepare and review team briefings, spreadsheets, and written materials for
Government review and approval in response to recurring and ad hoc technical and programmatic staff actions.
Ensure that documents require minimal edits and Government direction.
Create and execute data collection plans to capture previous, current, and future technology transition information.
Develop data tracking mechanisms and tools.

The determination of compensation at Culmen International, LLC is based on various factors such as location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, clearance level, experience, internal equity, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,690 – $174,612 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
