Culmen International LLC is seeking a Contracts Specialist, responsible for providing contract and subcontract administration support to the Culmen Contracting and Contract Procurement Department.
The Contracts Specialist will ensure that all parties follow and fulfill their contractual obligations. This role requires independent judgment and knowledge of federal regulations, contractual activities, programs, and projects to properly support the Contracts Department.
Develop, host and/or attend all internal contract kickoffs, subcontractor kickoffs, and external customer kickoffs
Review prime contracts/grants once awarded, including contractual provisions listed in RFPs during the proposal phase
Draft, negotiate, finalize, and monitor subcontracts with external parties such as subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
Process incoming Contracts Department Requests (CDRs) in a timely manner
Ensure that all parties follow and fulfill their contractual obligations in accordance with Culmen policies and Client requirements.
Provide independent judgment and knowledge of contractual activities, programs, and projects to properly support the Contracts Department
Conduct relevant legal research for contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications, as needed
Participate in continuing education to learn updates/changes in procedures, regulations, technology, etc.
Maintain accurate records of all contracts and related documentation in the Contracts Repository
Collaborate with outside counsel to address any legal issues that may arise.
Assist in the management of GSA eMods, GSA pricelists, and GSA Schedules with GSA vendor
Adhere to all federal award reporting and compliance requirements
Other responsibilities, as required
Familiarity with DELTEK Costpoint system

The determination of compensation at Culmen International, LLC is based on various factors such as location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, clearance level, experience, internal equity, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 annually. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Culmen's total compensation package for employees.
