About the Role

Culmen International, LLC is hiring an Executive Assistant to work in support of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Onsite in Arlington, VA. 

 

CISA is an agency of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) that is responsible for strengthening cybersecurity and infrastructure protection across all levels of government, coordinating cybersecurity programs within the United States, and improving the government's cybersecurity protections against private and nation-state hackers.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Assist the government in the day-to-day coordination of office operations including office management activities, files management, and administrative support.
  • Provide support to the government, including developing proposed responses for tasks, coordinating the draft responses with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and compiling the program response, and submitting the program response via the Exec Sec process.
  • Advise and assist in the development of standardized office policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Advise and assist in the development and implementation of processes to track all correspondence, deliverables, action items, and issues and ensure the timely and accurate execution of all task requests.
  • Assist the government in planning and organizing project-related meetings; including scheduling meetings, capturing action items, documenting meeting minutes, and distributing minutes to attendees.
  • Provide support the government with the planning and development of senior level presentations and briefings.
  • Provide the government with office coordination support including but not limited to: office logistics planning.
  • Provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist the government with the scheduling and execution of travel for supported primary and deputy using the DHS Concur system.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizen.
  • Current Top Secret security clearance, SCI eligible.
  • Eligibility to obtain DHS Suitability
  • Candidate MUST be able to work on-site in Arlington 5 days out of the week if required by the supported Principal.
  • Master's degree.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience providing support to government leadership and staff.
  • Experience managing schedules, tasks, and tracker activities and coordinating information or SME staff and management.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint document management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills including experience drafting program documents and generating responses for SME.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Experience supporting DHS
  • Experience with Concur travel system
  • Experience using CATT
