About the Role

The On site Liaison Officer will play an instrumental role working in the Command Control Center to ensure the U.S. federal client has all relevant and updated information pertaining to all operations nationwide.  Qualified candidate will have an integral role consolidating, communicating and conveying timely and accurate operational information and data to the United States Government (USG).  The candidate must have recent experience interfacing with a federal agency, demonstrate strong and effective communication skills, and be able to develop a strong tie with Culmen and the federal client.   

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Serves as a critical single point of contact on behalf of Culmen to the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) regarding current operational issues.
  • Lead conduit for communication concerning all emergent issues and responds to ORR’s travel concerns or questions via hotline, email, or chat enabling ORR to receive immediate response.
  • Directly responsible for the timely and accurate dissemination of operational information and data to the United States Government (USG).
  • Interface with Culmen personnel which includes, but not limited to supervisor(s), coordinators and travel personnel on shift, to receive, consolidate and communicate live, periodic and adhoc updates to the USG.
  • Deconflicts information and ensures all USG has the best and accurate operational information at all times.
  • Collaborates with all Team members to communicate specialized or adhoc transportation (e.g. ground or air) to the USG.
  • Takes initiative to present cohesive ideas and suggestions to management regarding streamlining or improving internal and external communications.
  • Will likely be a part of the on-site leadership team.
  • Communicate regularly with all members of the Command Center.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, or public affair or related field 
  • 5 years experience working as a Liaison, or similar role, ensuring all organizations or stakeholders have the right information and data, at the right or appropriate time
  • 2 years directly working in a private or governmental Command Center, Regional or Operational Center, directly supporting the USG in any domain or function
  • Knowledge of Health and Human Services, Office of Refugee and Resettlement re-unification programs, or similar program
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • HSPD-12 PIV Credential Tier 1
  • National Agency Check and Inquiries—NACI Clearance
  • Ability to pass a drug test; will be subject to random drug testing throughout employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
