Metrology Technician (Electronics)

Culmen International is hiring a Metrology Technician to support the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will be on-site in Lakehurst, NJ.  

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department. NAWCAD LKE is the lead activity responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and provides support to additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.  The successful execution of these efforts results in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and associated support systems.

• Calibrate electronic instruments and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform tests, adjustments, and repairs according to established procedures and standards.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to address calibration issues.
• Require knowledge of electronic principles, experience with calibration tools, and attention to detail.

• 3+ years’ experience utilizing digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators in the troubleshooting of Alternating Current (A/C) and Direct Current (DC) circuits.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Active Secret Clearance
