About the Role

Culmen International is hiring a Senior Cost Analyst to provide support for the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will be onsite in Lakehurst, NJ.  

 

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department. NAWCAD LKE is the lead activity responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and provides support to additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.  The successful execution of these efforts results in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and associated support systems.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Develop detailed cost estimates
  • Managing budgets
  • Conducting financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Performing variance analysis
  • Preparing and presenting cost reports
  • Implementing cost control measures
  • Gather and maintain accurate cost data
  • Collaborate with various departments to support decision-making 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Utilize cost analysis tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial evaluations
  • Contribute to organization's overall financial health and strategic planning

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of cost estimating, cost analysis, scheduling, budgeting, and operations research or engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in any leadership / management role required
  • 2+ years' experience in Business Economics, Accounting Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or Quantitative Analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or relate discipline
  • Active Secret Clearance

  • Master’s Degree
