Engineer / Scientist - Journeyman

Culmen International is hiring an Engineer / Scientist (Journeyman) to provide support for the Research Directorate at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division and will be onsite in Lakehurst, NJ.  

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst (LKE) Mission Operations & Integration (MO&I) Department. NAWCAD LKE is the lead activity responsible for Navy Aircraft Platform Support Equipment (SE), Aircraft Launch Recovery Equipment (ALRE), and provides support to additional Joint Service, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Department of Defense (DoD) programs.  The successful execution of these efforts results in logistics, engineering, and cyber work products for each aircraft and associated support systems.

• Supports implementation of comprehensive engineering, analytical, investigative, research and other technical
• Understanding of Defense Standarization Program (DSP) and military packaging support services
• Provide technical support to research
• Investigate, review, evaluate, and develop engineering and technical data
• Supports editing and revising of documents

• 3+ years experience of engineering experience in packaging materials or container testing
• BS Degree in Engineering or Packaging Science, or related scientific or technical discipline
• Active Secret Clearance

• Master’s Degree
