About the Role

Culmen is seeking a Senior Analyst / Director to support the DFC’s environmental and social assessment process.

 

This position will support the environmental and social assessment and monitoring of DFC PD support to projects. The contractor will assess environmental and social needs for proposed or active PD supported projects and review environmental and social terms of reference, deliverables, and implementation evidence. The contractor will coordinate across the PD and Environmental and Social Divisions to ensure consistency of the assessment of environmental and social performance of DFC projects.

What You’ll Do in Your New Role

  • Perform research, collection and collation of data from studies
  • Responsible for the compilation of data and preparation of inputs into larger reports
  • Performs assessments and projections of analysis process
  • Analyze factors and components of complex systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency
  • Plans studies of work problems and procedures
  • Recommend improvement of modifications in operations, equipment utilized and related matters
  • Examines and analyzes current / contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements
  • Translates user requirements into system specifications, configuration, management plans, life cycle management documentation, and integrated logistics
  • Write specifications manuals and documentation for clients and user personnel
  • Gathers information from users to define work problems, designs system and procedures to resolve issues
  • May be assigned responsibility for management of the project, including staff

 

Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years of experience as a technical director or senior analyst
  • MA/MS degree
  • Experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a program or project
  • Can perform all functional duties independently
  • Experience overseeing the efforts of less senior staff
  • Accept responsibility for the efforts of less senior staff assigned to a specific project
