Global Account Manager/Operations Lead

Culmen International is seeking a Global Account Manager/Operations Lead to oversee delivery of a large-scale, international Meetings & Events (M&E) program supporting a multilateral client.

This role serves as both the senior client interface and the operational lead, responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient delivery of global event services. The position combines strategic program oversight with hands-on operational management across a distributed, multi-regional team.

In this role, you will lead a global team supporting venue sourcing, logistics coordination, and event execution across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas. 

• Serve as primary client point of contact and oversee program delivery
• Manage global event operations across the full lifecycle (sourcing, logistics, execution)
• Lead and coordinate a distributed team of event managers
• Ensure performance against SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards
• Oversee reporting, financial tracking, and cost transparency
• Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
• Ensure effective use of event management platforms and data quality

• Experience managing programs for government or international organizations
• Experience managing international meetings & events programs
• Experience supporting global or multi-regional clients
• Strong program management and team leadership experience
• Experience with event logistics, vendor coordination, and reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English and French
• Authorized to work in France, located in Lyon.
